A-Go-Go -- When our friend Adam announced
that he was moving to Japan, we immediately announced that we would
be his first visitors. At the end of May, 2004, we spent 13 days and
nights visiting Tokyo, Kamakura, Kyoto, Nara and Nikko. Already in love
with the Japanese aesthetic upon our arrival, we were awed by our visit,
and took lots of pictures.
Our
image gallery is organized by day of our visit; it was the easiest way
to do it. We took over 750 pictures and posted close to 700 of them.
Excessive, yes. But then again, so was the impression Japan made upon
us. Greg wrote over 37 pages of travel journals while in Japan, and
those will be posted soon. For the time being, enjoy the images we tried
to capture our memories with.
