For non-locals: a large, pink triangle is placed on a prominent hill during gay pride weekend. Pink triangles were used by the Nazis to identify homosexual male prisoners in concentration camps. This triangle commemorates the gay victims of the Holocaust and is a reminder of the on-going inhumanity to repressed minorities going on now around the world.
