Kyoto: Kyoto Station, To-ji Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine

The most creative and captivating modern architecture we saw was Kyoto Station in Kyoto. Kyoto Station is home to numerous train lines, including the JR Shinkansen, as well as the Kyoto subway, two seperate 11-story malls and one 3-story underground mall. If you arrive in Kyoto hungry from your trip, look for food in the station, preferably on the 11th floor.
