Japan, Day 10

Kyoto: Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji and Ninna-ji Temples

We found the space deeply contemplative, and at the same time hilarious. It was nice to sit and
stare at the rocks. It would have been even nicer without the constant blaring of tour-guides over
megaphones. However, the garden also reminded us of some pieces of modern art. Looking for
meaning isn't the point, and "ha ha" on all of you who spend so much time staring at a can of soup.
Or a garden of rocks.
