Kyoto: Kyoto Station, To-ji Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine

The five-storey pagoda of To-ji burned down five times and was rebuilt in 1643. Now the highest pagoda in Japan, at 57 meters tall, it has a lightning rod and large grounding cables.
